The sister product to the Lava Vase, the Lave Bowl explores the many unique forms of lava and its effect on the artificial mountains it creates. Occurring only when magma reaches temperatures exceeding 1000 degrees celsius, a shield volcano is characterised by a gently sloping structure. Drawing inspiration from this natural phenomenon, the Lava Bowl features a wide, shallow inverted cone shape, and the same undulating texture of its sister, all beautifully captured in thick Murano glass.
