Technical Information

Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions from our worldwide clientele. If your particular question is not answered here, please complete the 'Contact Us' form with the details of your query and we will be delighted to respond

CEILING LIGHTS:

In the case of ceiling lights fitted with an adjustable chain, the height of the ceiling light is taken from the lowest point of the ﬁtting to where the chain starts. An allowance of approximately 180mm or 7” should be added to the height of such ceiling lights to allow for a minimal length of chain and the ceiling rose
All ceiling lights are supplied with approximately 500mm or 20" of chain. If additional chain is required please specify this with your order so that the ﬁtting can be wired with an additional amount of cable. Additional costs may apply
Ceiling lights are NOT supplied with ﬁxing hooks or plates. A qualiﬁed electrician must assess the ceiling construction and supply the required hook or fitting mechanism
Specialist French Candle tubes can be supplied on all chandeliers and wall lights at an additional cost. The sizes available are either 100mm or 170mm and they take a maximum 25 watt bulb. Standard candle tubes can take a maximum 40 watt bulb

WALL LIGHTS:

Wall lights WL13, WL26 and WL31 are all available as opposing pairs. This means they can come as left and right mirror images of each other. If not speciﬁed they will be supplied as pictured
4” or 5” candle clip shades can be used on most wall lights, however we recommend half candle clip shades on wall lights with a projection of less than 75mm or 3”
Swing arm wall light heights are measured from the lowest point of the arm to the middle of the bulb holder, except on the WL90 & 91 where the arm is fully adjustable and the height listed refers to the wall mounted rod
Shades smaller than 8” are not recommended for swing arm wall lights
Sample ﬁnishes can be supplied for all wall lights

LAMP SHADES:

Shades can be supplied with all global ﬁttings - BC, ES or ﬁnial ﬁtting. Sizes smaller than 8” are supplied with clip ﬁttings to ﬁx onto the light bulb
All shades of 8” and larger are supplied with gimbal or base pendant ﬁttings
Finial ﬁtting shades can be supplied on all US & UK lamps if preferred. Please specify if required at the time of order as saddles for harps and ﬁnials will need to be added and additional costs will apply
Pleated shades can be made in customers own fabric. Fabric must be supplied on a roll as creases from folding will render the material unusable
Laminated shades can also be made in customers own fabric. Samples are required for approval prior to order conﬁrmation. Fabric must be supplied on a roll as creases from folding will render the material unusable

FLOOR LAMPS:

All ﬂoor lamps in the Classic Collection are adjustable by approximately 300mm or 12" in height
The SL02 painted table ﬂoor lamp is available with coach lines and feet that match the metal parts chosen. We can recommend colour combinations
Swing arm and adjustable ﬂoor lamps can rotate 360 degrees and back again
Swing arm and adjustable ﬂoor lamps are weighted to contract standard to avoid tipping over
Floor lamps are secured in their delivery boxes with a specially designed base section of packaging. To avoid damage please remove from either the side or the base of the box
Old English Brass and Antique Brass (black) are unique patina ﬁnishes that do not require polishing, only dry dusting

TABLE LAMPS:

All Bella Figura's table lamps are supplied as standard with ES bulb holders. Table lamps can be supplied with Bayonet (BC), US or any other bulb holders in use throughout the world, but this must be specified at the time of order and additional costs may apply
The height of table lamps is measured from the base to the middle of the bulb holder
All Bella Figura table lamps are supplied with silk flex as standard. Please specify the colour required at the time of order
All Bella Figura table lamps are supplied with 2 metres of ﬂex. Extra ﬂex can be supplied at an additional cost if required
All Bella Figura table lamps are supplied with 13 amp plugs as standard. However 5 Amp and 2 Amp plugs are available at an additional cost if required

Polished brass lamps and components are not lacquered and will from time to time require polishing
